Hartge's front chin spoiler adds a lot of character to the 1-series' front end. The lines of this lip spoiler closely follow the stock M Aero package front spoiler and add definition and heft to BMW's smallest car. This add-on spoiler gives the 128i or 135i extra presence and makes it look unique. When installed, the spoiler becomes 1.5" closer to the pavement. This spoiler is made from high-quality PU-RIM urethane, just like the factory bumper and aero pieces. The urethane material means it is lighter than a fiberglass piece, less resistent to warping from heat, and has some flexability to keep from cracking during an impact. Installation adhesive is included.

This is a pair of replacement brake rotors/discs for the E39 530i and 540i (4/2000 and later production date). These are priced by the pair (one left front and one right front).

We offer a choice of brands to satisfy our customer's stringent quality standards -
Pagid Coated - an OEM type rotor made to the same dimensions and specs as the original design. These rotors have a high carbon content for excellent wear and thermal resistance. We like these rotors a lot because the quality is very high and the entire rotor is dip coated with anti-corrosion layer to prevent rust on the hub and in the cooling vanes, while the Zimmerman are only spray coated.
Zimmermann Coated - an OEM type rotor made to the same dimensions and specs as the original design. These rotors also have a high carbon content. These are high quality and spray coated with anti-corrosion layer to prevent rust on the hub and in the cooling vanes. Original BMW - the factory BMW rotors that you would buy at any BMW dealer but we offer them at a discounted price. These rotors also have anti-corrosion coating but are not as extensively coated as the Zimmermann. The 3.07 differential is an Original BMW part and used on the 330i ZHP Performance Package (manual transmission). This is a complete, fully-built differential that is a direct replacement swap for the stock 330i/ci 2.93 diff. On other models (323/325/328, Z4) you will need the 330's output shaft flanges (easy to install). You can find used output flanges online or we can sell you new flanges. The 3.07 gearing is 5% shorter than the stock 2.93 and will give a modest improvment in acceleration. Having the shorter ratio will put you in a better part of the RPM band for any given speed. This makes the car instantly quicker with more power and torque on tap. There's almost no downside aside from the higher revs will decrease fuel economy. Jumping from 2.93 to 3.07 is not a drastic change and was used by BMW to sell the ZHP package as a faster car than a standard 330i. For even better acceleration, try the 3.46 or 3.64 options in our custom differentials. The custom diffs will also give you a limited-slip option (this ZHP diff is still an open style).

This is an Original BMW part and carries the same BMW two year warranty as any other new BMW part. A core charge is required that can be refunded when your original diff is returned.

The H&R Coil Over kit takes the traditional shock/spring package one step further. H&R combines their progressive-rate springs with specially valved shocks and adds height adjusters that let you set the ride height to your own personal tastes. These coil overs are designed for street use with progressive rate springs that start out soft and stiffen as they are compressed. This helps to keep the ride compliant while still giving better handling and balance.

H&R designs each suspension to work as a coil over. This means that the correct amount of travel has been built into each shock. And the shocks are valved specifically for the spring rates to give a tight and controlled ride without being harsh or ultra-stiff. Each H&R coil over is TUV tested and approved and meets ISO quality standards. These are used with the stock strut and shock mounts for a quick and easy install.

Made in the USA 20MM (.79 inch) Big Pad Wheel Spacers for BMW E70 X5M, E71 X6/X6M, F02, F06, F07, F10, F12/F13, F22, F25, F3X, F8X M3/M4

These are our Big Pad wheel spacers designed for the latest generation of factory BMW wheels. The "wheel pad" is the back of the wheel that mounts to the hub on the car. Since the early 2000s the factory BMW wheel pad diameter has grown - 150mm, 152mm, 154mm, and now 156mm. Most of the wheel spacers on the market are 152mm. The difference from using the smaller spacer on a large pad will leave an unsightly step down between the back of the wheel and the brake rotor hat (see image). To fix this visual defect we use a larger diameter spacer - the Big Pad. This will have less of a step, or no step at all, when used with the larger pad size. Note that nearly all aftermarket wheel manufacturers use the smaller pad size (mainly to reduce unsprung weight). Wheel spacers are the ideal solution to resolve a number of fitment and aesthetic problems. A spacer fits between the wheel and the hub assembly. The wheel will be pushed further outboard by the thickness of the spacer. Spacers allow you to correct wheel offset issues when the wheel is too 'tucked in' to the bodywork, clear the wheel from contact with the suspension or inner bodywork, clear larger brakes, improve handling and stability by increasing track width, or simply to get the right look and stance. Our wheel spacers are compatible with almost any type of BMW wheel and are a direct fit to the wheel hub (see below for any fitment notes). Longer wheel bolts or wheel studs are required.

These latest generation of the Turner Motorsport Wheel Spacers represent a total redesign of the wheel spacer concept - a ground-up, clean sheet design based on our years of BMW service and motorsports. We took everything we have learned from our service technicians, customers, and race team crew and built the spacer to beat all spacers. We've been in the BMW wheel spacer business probably longer than anybody and when it came time to make our own spacers, a basic spacer design just wouldn't do. We had to make a spacer that is light weight (for lower unsprung mass), has a tough and durable coating to last through our New England winters, is easily removed (your mechanic will thank you), and is precisely engineered and manufactured for a proper fit on the hub and in the wheel. Important Note: It is vital that you measure the depth of your hub lip. The depth of the lip must not exceed the thickness of the spacer. Extended Wheel Bolts
Required for all BMW wheel spacers is a set of longer wheel bolts or wheel studs. Spacers cannot be used with stock bolts. Our extended lug bolts are a very high quality and high grade steel lug bolt (grade 10.9). A black zinc coating will maintain a factory BMW appearance and provide long-lasting corrosion protection. Zinc finishes are designed to withstand 700 hours of salt spray testing.

Looking to add a custom center section to your E30 M3 exhaust? Or installing an S14 engine in another chassis? You're going to need a front flange to meet up to the flange on the header. BMW flanges are typically specific to the vehicle model and the E30 M3 flanges are not shared with any other model. This will leave you in a bind when putting together a custom exhaust. We have designed and built this flange from stainless steel and is a perfect matchup to the flange on the stock S14 header. This flange is designed to be welded to 2" piping in the center section. The OEM gasket rings can be used with it.

This intake kit replaces your restrictive factory air box. It features a 1.6mm powder-coated steel heat shield, heat-resistant molded intake tube, trim sealed to seal out hot engine air, and a custom application-specific aFe brand cotton filter.

This version has an oil-free filter media for less maintenance. For the best flowing filter, with the best performance gain, we always recommend the standard aFe "Pro5R " filter (which has a blue pre-oiled filter media), but this oil-free filter flows only slightly less than the blue Pro5R style aFe filter, and requires no re-oiling after cleaning the filter.

This H&R Sport Cup Kit is for drivers who want that extra edge from a stiffer suspension but without the expense and complexity of coil overs. The E90 Sport Cup Kit is a more aggressive version of the Touring kit. The ride height lowers the center of gravity and roll center even more and the springs are stiffer for more control over body motions and weight transfer. The Sport Cup Kit lowers the ride height as much as 2.1" in front and 1.7" in the back. The springs are still progressive rate so the ride stays compliant on small bumps but quickly gets stiffer. Overall, they are about 50% stiffer than the stock original springs. Lowering amount will be less if replacing the factory sport suspension. If you want a very precise and firm suspension, and ride quality is secondary, the Sport Cup Kit is superior to the Touring or any other shock/spring package we offer. This package fits with the stock strut and shock mounts but front camber plates are recommended because of the increased front negative camber.

Control arms, and their integrated ball joints, are some of the most crucial components on a BMW suspension. The control arms literally control the wheel and suspension as they go through their range of motions. A faulty or worn control arm or ball joint is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening problem so make sure they are inspected and replaced at regular intervals. For a street-driven car we advise yearly inspection and a full replacement every 3-4 years. For track-driven cars these should be inspected before every event and replaced every two years.

This control arm is an aftermarket OEM alternative part that comes with a 1-year warranty. This coolant reservoir is for the non-M E46 3-series models from 1999-2006 (M3 takes a different expansion tank). We have found that the expansion tanks should be replaced based on age as well as condition. Expansion tanks seem to have a lifespan of less than six years before they show signs of fatigue and wear. Pre-emptively replacing the expansion tank as part of an overall maintenance plan can prevent you from getting stranded from a sudden failure later on. This is the most recent expansion tank design from Hella-Behr, the OEM supplier to BMW. It replaces the original BMW part number 17137787039.

Other items to consider replacing at the same time are the radiator cap, coolant level sensor, lower radiator hose, coolant temp sensor in the lower hose, and the hose clamps. If your car has an automatic transmission you should also replace the oil cooler thermostat in the radiator frame, which is a common source for leaks.

The Bilstein Clubsport Coilover Suspension for F80 M3 and F82 M4 provides maximum performance and adjustability for drivers who run their cars on the track to the limit yet also want a "streetable" suspension. The Clubsport shocks feature independent adjustment of both rebound and compression forces via the two aluminium adjustment knobs. The front adjustments are made from under the front strut; the rear adjustments are made from the top of the shock. With 10 settings for both compression and rebound there are up to 100 unique suspension settings to fine tune your car for a bumpy track, a billiard smooth track or the drive home. 

The Bilstein Clubsport suspension is a TüV-certified, street-legal, high-end coilover package that is also designed for uncompromising use in racing, track days, and club racing. This is the same Bilstein Clubsport suspension technology used in racing series throughout Europe. The suspension combines the tried-and-tested BILSTEIN mono-tube shocks with the highest levels of engineering from the field of motorsport. The 2-way adjustment system, with integrated reservoir, offers a weight advantage for racing use compared to systems with external reservoirs. 

With 10 x 10 clicks, a wide range of handling characteristics can be created in just seconds, allowing for instant back-to-back set-up and testing. In combination with the adjustable motorsport uniball camber plates, it is possible to select the suitable setup for the respective track, weather conditions, vehicle weight, driver preferance, and tire characteristics. Rear monoball upper shock mounts are also included for a complete, bolt-in package.

The H&R Coil Over kit takes the traditional shock/spring package one step further. H&R combines their progressive-rate springs with specially valved shocks and adds height adjusters that let you set the ride height to your own personal tastes. These coil overs are designed for street use with progressive rate springs that start out soft and stiffen as they are compressed. This helps to keep the ride compliant while still giving better handling and balance.

H&R designs each suspension to work as a coil over. This means that the correct amount of travel has been built into each shock. And the shocks are valved specifically for the spring rates to give a tight and controlled ride without being harsh or ultra-stiff. Each H&R coil over is TUV tested and approved and meets ISO quality standards. These are used with the stock strut and shock mounts for a quick and easy install. This suspension is a direct replacement for cars without EDC. For an EDC-equipped model you will need an EDC emulator and non-EDC mounts.

A turbocharged BMW such as the 135i or 335i needs traction to put that power to the ground. The stock differential of both the 135i and 335i only put power to one wheel -- this just won't cut it! Upgrading to a limited slip differential means power to BOTH wheels, for better lauch, acceleration, and track handling. We're excited to be carrying the OS Giken LSD unit in our performance catalog, as we've used their products on our own Championship winning E46 and E92 race cars.

With the 135i/335i LSD unit, they have incorporated revolutionary new ideas into the design (4 years in the making!) which uses an unprecedented number of friction plates (up to 28 total!) for better locking force, better engagement/disengagement, and less generated heat. The end result of their efforts is the OS Giken's OS Super Lock LSD which offers incredible durability and reliability on street and track driven BMWs. The use of highest quality materials, precise machining, forged gears and sound engineering makes this LSD durable and reliable enough for road racing performance (which we can personally vouch for!). Zero break-in required. Super smooth and quiet engagement, and 100% progressive locking capability.

Installation note: BMW differentials use many unique and BMW-only parts and components. Only technicians who are experienced and familiar with BMW parts should perform the installation. The OS Giken LSD is the limited slip unit (or 'chunk') only. It replaces the stock non-LSD chunk but the original ring and pinion and other internals must be installed with the OS Giken unit. This unit will only work on 335i manual differentials with a bolt-in or modified ring gear. Proper setup and spacing is critical for long life operation. Turner Motorsport’s five years of endurance competition has taught us many things. One was that not all lug-nuts are made the same. While the standard nuts that we sell are great for daily drivers, HPDE events, and club racing, a beefier and more durable nut was needed for the 3-hour, 6-hour, and 24-hour professional endurance races. During the 24 Hours of Daytona, our crew guys made over 80 tire changes in NASCAR-style pitstops. That kind of abuse from air guns and fast work required the "next level" of lug-nut. These nuts are a high-grade steel with a zinc coating and they incorporate several innovative features.

The wheel-side of the nut has recessed threads so that the nut has to be square to engage the threads. Without the recess, it’s far too easy to start the threads with the nut being crooked.

The 19mm head of the nut is slightly rounded to help the socket find its position.

The zinc plating that we use is reasonably durable without being excessive. With too much coating, the chipped and worn coating fragments can end up in the threads, leading to all sorts of trouble. Anyone who has used nuts repeatedly knows that the coating is not going to last forever. The constant abuse from air guns will chip it all away. So why add weight and the potential for disaster with excess coating? We did away with most of the danger from that with a lighter coating that still resists the tough environment of the track.

    This Cooling Kit for the 1987 E30 325i covers all of the major replacement parts for the original cooling system. We start with an OEM Behr radiator and then you choose the additional parts you need to replace next. Add hoses, sensors, water pumps, thermostats, gaskets, hose clamps, and more. We also sell the correct Original BMW antifreeze to finish off the job.

    Of the systems in your E30, the cooling system is not where you want to let slide or skip maintenance. Almost nothing will ruin your day more than an overheating engine and it's usually at the absolute worse time. Maintaining the cooling system is easy and you can do most or all of the work yourself with ordinary tools. There's no reason not to address a leaky or out of date cooling system right away.

    Top Turner Tip!
    On the 1987 325i, pay particular attention to the alternator fan blades and the clearance to the lower radiator hose. As the engine shifts on worn motor mounts, and the alternator twists on worn bushings, the cooling blades can slice right through the hose. Replace the alternator bushings and use our motor mount reinforcements. Or convert the whole system to the 1988+ cooling system which moves the lower hose to the other side of the radiator.

    To save you time and money, we recommend replacing major components with related parts.

    Wheel Fitment Guides: Wheel spoke-to-brake caliper clearance is critical since the new caliper is physically larger and the in a different position. StopTech has produced these cutaway diagrams for you to print and place on the backside of your wheel to check for clearance. Wheels that do not clear will need a wheel spacer. The minimum recommended clearance between the wheel and caliper is 3mm.

    Pagid Coated - an OEM type rotor made to the same dimensions and specs as the original design. These rotors have a high carbon content for excellent wear and thermal resistance. We like these rotors a lot because the quality is very high and the entire rotor is dip coated with anti-corrosion layer to prevent rust on the hub and in the cooling vanes, while the Zimmerman are only spray coated.

    This intake kit replaces your restrictive factory air box. It features a 3-angle velocity stack adapter, 1.6mm powder-coated steel heat shield, trim sealed to seal out hot engine air, and a custom aFe brand cotton filter.

    This version uses aFe's highest flowing filter media, which uses a lightly oil gauze to filter out dirt and particulates, while allowing more air to flow to the intake. For the best flowing filter, with the best performance gain, we always recommend this standard aFe filter media (often called "Pro5R ", which has a blue pre-oiled filter media). We also carry this filter in the "ProDry" grey filter media, which is oil-free for only slightly less performance and no maintenance.

    By removing your stock intake air box, you are removing the most restrictive portion of your engine's intake system, increasing both horse power and torque, improving acceleration as well as throttle response.

    This high quality BEHR brand expansion tank is used on M50, M52, S50 and S52 engines, and is a common failure item on all E36 3 series with 6 cylinder engines (325/328/323 and M3) 1992-1999, Z3 with 2.8 liter, MZ3 Roadster/Coupe (S52), and E39 528i from 1997-1998. BEHR was the original equipment supplier to BMW, so you know the BEHR made expansion tank will be the highest quality available. Be leary of competitors selling this part for less -- is it a BEHR? Probably not. We only carry the BEHR brand expansion tank as it is the only one we use in our own BMWs.

    If you are overhauling your coolant system, now is the time to consider preventative replacing this expansion tank. These are known to go bad, causing a leak which can leave you stranded. We have found that the expansion tanks should be replaced based on age as well as condition. Expansion tanks seem to have a lifespan of less than six years before they show signs of fatigue and wear. Pre-emptively replacing the expansion tank as part of an overall maintenance plan can prevent you from getting stranded from a sudden failure later on.

    Need a new coolant level sensor too? If your coolant level sender is bad, your on board computer will constantly display a "low coolant" message (unless your coolant is actually low...).     Made in the USA 3MM (.12 inch) Big Pad Wheel Spacers with extended wheel bolts for BMW E70 X5M, E71 X6/X6M, F02, F10, F13, F22, F25, F3X

    These are our Big Pad wheel spacers designed for the latest generation of factory BMW wheels. The "wheel pad" is the back of the wheel that mounts to the hub on the car. Since the early 2000s the factory BMW wheel pad diameter has grown - 150mm, 152mm, 154mm, and now 156mm. Most of the wheel spacers on the market are 152mm. The difference from using the smaller spacer on a large pad will leave an unsightly step down between the back of the wheel and the brake rotor hat (see image). To fix this visual defect we use a larger diameter spacer - the Big Pad. This will have less of a step, or no step at all, when used with the larger pad size. Note that nearly all aftermarket wheel manufacturers use the smaller pad size (mainly to reduce unsprung weight).     The 3mm and 5mm Big Pad Spacers also solve a problem with F10 M5/F12 M6 wheel fitments. The factory Carbon Ceramic Brakes have a recess machined into the brake rotor hat. The wheel is supposed to sit inside this recess. But some factory and aftermarket wheels have an extra large mounting pad that is too big for the recess. Using the Turner 3mm or 5mm spacers will give you a solid mounting surface for these types of wheels.

    Wheel spacers are the ideal solution to resolve a number of fitment and aesthetic problems. A spacer fits between the wheel and the hub assembly. The wheel will be pushed further outboard by the thickness of the spacer. Spacers allow you to correct wheel offset issues when the wheel is too 'tucked in' to the bodywork, clear the wheel from contact with the suspension or inner bodywork, clear larger brakes, improve handling and stability by increasing track width, or simply to get the right look and stance. Our wheel spacers are compatible with almost any type of BMW wheel and are a direct fit to the wheel hub (see below for any fitment notes). Longer wheel bolts or wheel studs are required.

    These latest generation of the Turner Motorsport Wheel Spacers represent a total redesign of the wheel spacer concept - a ground-up, clean sheet design based on our years of BMW service and motorsports. We took everything we have learned from our service technicians, customers, and race team crew and built the spacer to beat all spacers.     Extended Wheel Bolts
    Required for all BMW wheel spacers is a set of longer wheel bolts or wheel studs. Spacers cannot be used with stock bolts. Our extended lug bolts are a very high quality and high grade steel lug bolt (grade 10.9). We offer two finishes to get you just the right look with your wheels - black zinc to maintain a factory BMW appearance or a bright zinc nickel finish to go with polished wheels. Zinc finishes are designed to withstand 700 hours of salt spray testing.


    3mm spacer note: a 3mm spacer uses up 3mm of space on the existing hub lip. The wheel will have 3mm less hub surface for a secure fitment. Therefore, wheels that have a bevel around the center bore will not engage the hub lip and may reseult in a vibration.

Stiffer than the stock units and still adjustable for camber. This arm is legal in many racing classes where an aftermarket arm is not permitted. Sold individually, two required per car.

    Orange RS 4-4: Racing - This compound has a very goodfade resistance and a higher average friction value than the RS 4-2. It is rotor friendly with predictable, non-aggressive friction behavior (stable torque). Fading resistance up to 560°C (1.050°F). It is a very good rear compound for Touring Car applications in combination with RS 29 or RS 19 Yellow front pads. It is used on either Short Track or Long Distance. It is also used on BMWShowroom Stock, all other Touring-Cars and Single- Seater up to F3.

    Yellow RS 29: Racing New endurance compound. This compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Due to its outstanding wear rate and driveability, PAGID endurance materials are often used at sprint races as well.

    Black RS 14: Racing - This is a medium high friction value ceramic type compound with very good modulation, high fade resistance, low heat conductivity, and a good wear rate up to a temperature of 650°C (1.200°F). It is kind on discs, with visible grooving, but a limitation of hairline cracks. Applications include NASCAR, CART, F3, Touring cars, GT cars, WSC, Trans Am and Rally.

    Since Pagid pads tend to "out-gas" we recommend using these pads with a new gas-slotted or cross-drilled rotor for the best performance. Pagid brakepads are not compatible with previously used rotors, especially if used with a carbon or Kevlar based race pad.

    Wheel Fitment Guides: Wheel spoke-to-brake caliper clearance is critical since the new caliper is physically larger and the in a different position. StopTech has produced these cutaway diagrams for you to print and place on the backside of your wheel to check for clearance. Wheels that do not clear will need a wheel spacer. The minimum recommended clearance between the wheel and caliper is 3mm.

    This is the same oil cooler that came on the European model M3. With the proper parts, this oil cooler can be fitted to your US spec M3, 325i, 325is, 328i, 328is, or 323is VERY easily. Please note, this item is the oil cooler itself and does not include brackets, lines, or the modified oil filter housing required to install this part on a US spec E36.

They are also not a consistent diameter through the whole pipe which will restrict flow. Vargas Turbo has identified the weak spots and come up with these 7-ply 2.0" silicone hoses. They are stronger and more durable and have much better flow than the original squashed pipes. And silicone will not contribute to heat soak in the engine bay.     Coil over suspensions are better engineered suspension options compared to a standard shock + spring package. Since the springs and shocks in a coil over are designed by a team of engineers to work together, there is much better suspension travel and more precisely tuned specifications for spring and shock rates.     The SPEC Stage 2+ clutch is a premium, no compromises heavy-duty clutch upgrade for the 2001-2003 E46 330i/ci (5-speed transmission). It goes beyond the standard Stage 1 upgrade with a higher-capacity clutch disc rated at 545ft-lbs! Where the stock clutch is well-known for premature wear when driven hard and the factory dual mass flywheel is a known failure point, the SPEC clutch delivers with an over-engineered, performance-oriented clutch solution.

    The stock 330 clutch was not designed for performance. It works fine for a daily driver street car with no mods but performance and longevity quickly drop off when adding more power or using the car for aggressive street, autocross, or track use. A lot of our customers also hate the self-adjusting clutch (SAC) mechanism and the clutch delay valve that makes clutch engagement inconsistent and unnatural feeling. It's no wonder that for the Grand-Am Cup touring car races the rules specified an E36 M3 clutch! If you're unhappy with the stock clutch feel or your future plans include additional upgrades that boost torque, then a heavy-duty clutch is what will be needed. The SPEC Stage 2+ clutch consists of a carbon-Kevlar friction material paired with a heavy-duty pressure plate. The clutch is stronger and grabs harder than the factory clutch. It has a much more robust feel and engagement. And with this specification the clutch will never be a weak point. The SPEC clutch is designed to work with the stock dual mass flywheel or with a lightweight aluminum single-mass flywheel.

    The real weak point in the driveline is in the flywheel. The stock dual-mass flywheel has rubber damper discs inside that will wear out over time. Heat and aggressive driving will accelerate their wear. Even if the clutch contact surface is not showing wear the inner rubber linings most likely are. On most clutch replacements we strongly advise getting a new flywheel at the same time to avoid duplicating the work. You can use the SPEC clutch with the stock or an aluminum flywheel. A machined steel flywheel is also an option as a middle ground. Both the SPEC steel and aluminum flywheels are lighter than stock and will be single-mass. There will be a lot more noise and 'gearbox chatter' with the aluminum but the tradeoff is a much better acceleration and quicker revving.     These sway bar links are offered in many different lengths which is perfect for an E90 E92 M3 running coil overs and needs to have the pre-load eliminated from the front sway bar. The M3 front strut is different than other E9X models. It has a concave depression on the tab for the sway bar link which makes every other aftermarket or adjustable link impossible to use. Our set of links includes a convex seat adapter piece that most other custom sway bar links do not have.

    Custom lengths are sometimes needed because of ride height differences or if the sway bar link mounting point has been moved. Simply measure for your ideal link length, and order the links with the best length range (below). Each sway bar link has a 10mm diameter mounting pin/stud, which is the typical factory/stock size for a universal fitment. These are sold by the pair, and each set includes two matching sway bar end links.

    These end links offer the quiet operation and long life of standard BMW end links, but with the strength and adjustability of rod-end style sway bar links.     Maximum Flow Pro5R Filter

    This intake kit replaces your restrictive factory air box. It features a 3-angle aluminum velocity stack adapter, 1.6mm powder-coated steel heat shield, trim sealed to seal out hot engine air, and a custom aFe brand cotton filter.

    This version uses aFe's highest flowing filter media, which uses a lightly oil gauze to filter out dirt and particulates, while allowing more air to flow to the intake. For the best flowing filter, with the best performance gain, we always recommend this standard aFe filter media (often called "Pro5R ", which has a blue pre-oiled filter media). We also carry this filter in the "ProDry" grey filter media, which is oil-free for only slightly less performance and no maintenance.

    By removing your stock intake air box, you are removing the most restrictive portion of your intake system, increasing both horse power and torque, improving acceleration as well as throttle response.

    For the maximum benefit in performance, we recommend upgrading your engine software with the Shark Injector (Click here for more info on the Shark Injector performance software.)

    H&R's 3mm wheel spacers are Made in Germany and are TUV approved. H&R manufacturers their spacers from a super lightweight aluminum/magnesium alloy for excellent strength and also to save unsprung weight. The spacers are drilled for additional lightness and easy fitment. They are then hard anodized for durability. These are not low quality universal spacers - the bolt pattern, hub sizing, and other dimensions are designed to be used on BMW models only. This spacer has a larger mounting surface specifically designed for the larger mounting pad of F30 wheels. 

    This spacer slips on the existing hub lip and leaves some lip left over for the wheel to rest on. This keeps the wheel hubcentric*.
    * - To avoid vibration, 3mm spacers work best with wheels that have a flush mounting surface. Wheels that have a bevel around the mounting surface will not be fully seated on the hub and a vibration may result. 

    Longer wheel bolts are strongly recommended. Choose from black or silver bolts from the options below. Wheel locks to work with this spacer size are also available.

    Everyone at the track will agree that stand alone ECUs give the most control and the best access for tuning. The obstacle with stand alones has traditionally been the cost and time. Bosch Motorsport and Turner Motorsport have teamed up to offer an affordable, plug-and-play, and fully tunable stand alone ECU system for the E46 M3. The Bosch Motorsport ECU opens the doors for unlimited tuning potential and instant power and reliability benefits over the stock BMW MSS54 ECU. The Bosch Motorsport plug-n-play ECU cuts through all of the hassle and additional work that normally comes with switching to a stand alone management system. It also leapfrogs the factory system in advanced tuning and reliability. This is a must-have system for owners of E46 M3 race and track cars. Pound for pound the factory ECU just doesn't stack up.

    The advantages of the Bosch Motorsport system are ENORMOUS:
    + immediate power and torque gains
    + all-in-one system with direct plug-in to existing wiring and dash cluster
    + full access and control over engine mapping
    + low cost compared to other engine management systems
    + no interference or limp modes like the factory ECU
    + base map file included (the Bosch ECU holds 3)
    + access to upgrade-specific map files and updates

    The factory MSS54 ECU is a compromise on multiple levels. It's purpose is NOT to make large amounts of horsepower or allow access to its internal code for changes. There have been great breakthroughs in reverse engineering the stock ECU but the fact remains it was never intended to be a true race ECU. The factory ECU and oxygen sensors are there for controlling emissions and fuel economy. The emphasis is on control - it is in BMW's best interest to lock out changes to the ECU so that the car conforms to emissions and fuel economy standards. While mild tuning for the street is not a problem (such as with our Shark Injector software), the factory ECU will fight major changes every step of the way.

    Our partnership with Bosch Motorsport goes back a long time. When we switched from a full stand alone to the Bosch ECU on our E46 M3 racecars we instantly made more power. When we realized there was a need for a plug-and-play alternative to the stock E46 M3 ECU the Bosch MS4.0 ECU was the first to come to mind. Stand-alone race ECU systems are ideal for making large amounts of reliable power but until now they were too expensive and too complicated. A full stand lone system will cost tens of thousands of dollars and require hours of installation and fabrication work for the sensors, wiring harnesses, communications platforms, and more. Our Bosch Motorsport system gives you all of the control of a stand-alone but works with the existing wiring and sensors in the E46 M3, including the instrument cluster and dash! This is thanks to the special translator interface box that we developed and allows the Bosch ECU to communicate with the stock VAN0S, drive-by-wire, cooling and oil systems, ABS, and more. The Bosch ECU works with the more advanced Bosch LSU4.9 wideband oxygen sensors which replace the two stock pre-cat O2 sensors. We strongly recommend that you replace your spark plugs and ignition coils with the latest BMW part numbers before installing this system. You can be up and running with the complete Bosch system in about an hour! Yes, one hour! Plug in the ECU and translator box and swap the front O2 sensors and you're done. You can revert back to stock just as easily. To get reliable power means removing interference from emissions equipment or OBD oversight and eliminate the possibility of a race-ending limp mode or fault code. The Bosch ECU system eliminates layers of complexity to give you what you really want: power and control.

    Our Bosch ECU system comes pre-installed with a base engine map that closely matches your existing engine spec. We developed multiple tuning maps on our Dynapack chassis dyno using popular bolt-on S54 power upgrades: headers, intakes, cams, superchargers, etc. Straight away our base tune gained 24hp. With headers and cat delete, over 50! Our base supercharger file gained almost 50hp more than the tune that came with the kit! A 3.5L stroker engine gained over 30hp from the best file supplied by the engine builder! We provide you with a base map closely matched with your existing modifications. You then have the ability, if needed, to make adjustments to optimize the output using the Bosch PC software. Unlike the factory ECU there is no limit to the number of flashes you can make on the Bosch ECU.
