For disc brakes to work effectively and last long, the disc must be true, with a minimum and uniform thickness and a suitably smooth surface, free from pits and heavy scoring. Installing new rotors as part of a brake service gives the new brake pad friction material a uniform contact surface for effective braking and long pad life. To ensure maximum performance, please bed new pads correctly. Proper bedding transfers a thin layer of brake material from the new pads to the rotor braking surface. Bedding improves brake performance with less dusting, makes pads last longer, improves pedal feel, and reduces or eliminates brake noise. ECS Tuning stocks a large inventory of premium brake parts, including pads and rotors, shoes and drums, hardware, hoses and lines, fluids, and hi-temp lubricants; everything you need to perform a professional brake service.
