Racing and aftermarket seats require a mount to afix the seat to the chassis of the car. Most Recaro seats are 'side-mount' which means the brackets attach to the side of the seat and then turn 90 degrees to mount to the floor (or sliders). These are genuine Recaro side mounts that are FIA-certified for optimum safety and security. Many racing organizations require an FIA-approved mount. Sold as a pair with hardware included. Choose from standard steel or light weigt aluminum. Choose from Steel or aluminum above. We recommend aluminum to those who are trying to save weight in their build.

The Recaro Flexible Adaptor seat mounts are the most robust and stout slider mounts we have seen. The Flexible Adapter mounts are a reinforced side mount + slider assembly intended for pro endurance racing. These are the first FIA-certified seat sliders. They have extra reinforcing braces on the front and rear which takes away a lot of the lateral motion from traditional un-reinforced side mount brackets. As racecars see more lateral loading from high downforce and stickier tires the seat naturally wants to flex even more. This extra strength seat slider/mount combination is just the thing to keep you planted in place. Even the slider hand bar is overbuilt and bright red for to grab your attention. These have been designed by Recaro specifically for endurance races where driver changes need to be done in seconds.
