This intake gasket is located between the head and the intake manifold runners. These should be replaced whenever removing and re-installing the intake manifold.
Any time the intake plenum tubes are separated from the intake manifold, it is best practice to replace the gaskets to ensure proper sealing of these components. Replaces BMW # 11611730742
