The Achilles Motorsports Oil Pan Baffle was designed and manufactured to be used on racing, high-performance track, and street driven cars. Each baffle is precision laser cut from .090" heat-treated aluminum then hand-assembled and test fit to ensure accuracy and ease of installation. Achilles Motorsports' baffle design incorporates dual trap doors and a unique oil deflector that prevents oil from splashing out of the sump under hard braking. Together, these help minimize the sloshing of the oil inside the oil pan and keep oil accumulated around your pickup tube. The factory BMW oil pan doesn't do a very good job of keeping oil accumulated around the oil pick-up tube in high g-force situations. By keeping oil accumulated around the pickup tube you can eliminate the costly loss of oil pressure and potential damage to other vital engine parts commonly caused by high g-forces from hard acceleration and braking and high-speed cornering. Professional welding is required for installation!

Achilles Motorsports' S54 Swap oil pump upgrade kit is designed to work with late-model M50/S52 generation oil pumps. This is a typical conversion when retrofitting an S54 engine into a chassis such as an E30 or E34 that requires the use of a front sump oil pan. This kit can also be used to upgrade the Euro S50B30 3.0L Single Vanos engine oil pump to the later generation pump utilizing a higher volume pump. The ULTIMATE SOLUTION for your S54 Swapped car offered by Achilles Motorsports! Achilles takes their oil pump shafts to the extreme, using only the toughest materials and heat treatment processes to ensure optimum strength. The core of this kit is a hardened Chromoly shaft that is centerless ground to ensure absolute trueness. The shaft is engineered with an exclusive square key lock system that not only prevents the gear from ever spinning on the shaft but also adds strength to the area to which the gear mounts. Achilles Motorsports then replaced the pesky oil pump nut with an extended length bolt that is EDM drilled for safety wire to properly secure it for all conditions. Stainless steel filtration is not a new technology but is quickly gaining popularity in the automotive segment. With the ability to filter down as small as a paper filter element with the ability to be washed and reused!

The K&P Engineering filter element is made from medical grade, type 304 stainless steel micronic filter cloth to provide unmatched protection against oil contamination and resultant engine damage. A one inch square of this material flows an incredible 1.9 gallons of oil per minute at only 1 PSI pump pressure. The adhesive used in the filter assembly process is good to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, far above normal engine operating temperatures. A super strength nickel-plated neodymium rare earth magnet is installed in the top of the element for magnetic pre-filtering of the oil. The sophisticated bypass is engineered for proper differential pressures and consistent operation, delivering a greater percentage of filtered oil while being very easy to clean. The twist lock design assures positive filter element placement and allows for easy disassembly, inspection, and cleaning. The quad-ring gasket doubles the seal between the filter and the engine. Finally, the filter housing is carved out of solid 6061T6 billet aluminum, which not only looks trick but aids in dissipating heat.
