These bars replace the existing sway bars on the car for a clean and simple upgrade with very little downside. The ball-joint inside the link will eventually wear out. The problem gets worse if the rubber boot surrounding the joint is ripped. When the joint goes bad you can hear it clunk when going over bumps. Replacement of the link will help with the handling and feel of the car.
