A genuine BMW Motorsport part. Replace the restrictive lower section of your air box with this redesigned version. Draws air from the low pressure / low turbulent area behind the front bumper through a tuned intake horn into a larger air box. Retains stock air filter element. Optional aFe or K&N brand performance filters are available as well. Some late '90, and early '91 models came with these. If your M3 has a rubber connector (vs. a foam seal ring) between the lower air box and the radiator support, it is the old style air box.
