Drivetrain Mounts and Upgrades for BMW 3 Series E30 (1984-1991)

From the factory, engine and transmission mounts are rubber and thus a wear component. Worn out engine or transmission mounts create sloppiness and a disconnect between the driver and your BMW's powerplant. If your vehicle is purpose built for the track, we recommend solid engine and transmission mounts. These have zero deflection, but come at the expense of added NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). Poly engine and transmission mounts offer a good balance between OEM rubber and solid mounts for those with mixed purpose vehicles, offering great performance and connection with little sacrifice in terms of NVH.

Condor Speed Shop took the hard work out of removing and reinstalling your differential! If you've ever taken out your diff, you know how much of a pain it is to get the bolt holes to line up during re-installation. They never seem to line up perfectly, and getting the bolts to go in can be time-consuming. Condor's diff studs are designed to make your life a little easier. The diff will line up and lift right into the holes every time. 38mm studs are used with OEM or regular subframe bushings. 45mm studs are used with the 12mm riser subframe bushings. You'll need to pull the driveshaft to drop the diff. Use thread locker during install. Recommended for street or race use. Kit includes: 4 Studs 4 Washers 4 Lock Nuts

Solid bolt through 70D polyurethane motor mounts. Recommended for race use only. These mounts are designed for a 1983-1991 E30 BMW 3-series with an M20 engine. Revshift motor mounts are made by Revshift in the U.S.A. from high-quality polyurethane. 70D polyurethane has a comparable hardness to plastics such as Delrin and UHMW. Unlike plastic, polyurethane is an elastomer which means it will return to its original shape if deformed and it will not crack. We do not recommend plastics for automotive use due to their inherent brittleness and inability to return to their original shape when deformed. These specific mounts are designed for those with clearance issues on extremely low E30s. They are 20mm taller than OEM mounts to add necessary clearance to ensure the oil pan sits above the stock subframe. Under hard braking the OEM rubber mounts allow the m20 to lean forward. Not only do these solid UHMW replacement mounts stiffen the engine and drivetrain, but they also raise the engine by 20mm, dramatically changing the responsiveness and raising the oil pan height of your E30. UHMW is an excellent general-purpose plastic with a unique combination of wear and corrosion resistance, low friction surface and impact strength. It is resistant to chemical attack and moisture absorption and retains key physical properties to -30 C.
