Control arm bushing brackets do not typically wear or fatigue. But we sell replacement brackets as a convenience to go with new bushings (press one bushing instead of pressing out the old). For racers it's a great idea to keep a spare set of bushings with brackets on hand since pressing bushings at a racetrack is not ideal. Keep a spare set to avoid hassle and downtime.

Anytime that you replace your front control arms you must replace your control arm bushings. The reason is because it's hard to tell if you're bushings are really bad and they are often destroyed when removed. These are the control arm bushings from the 1996-1999 E36 M3 and have the hole in the center.
These are the stock bushings bushings from the 1996-99 E36 M3 and MZ3 but are a great upgrade for any E30 - 318/325, E36 - 325/323/328, and Z3 -1.9, 2.3, 2.5, 2.8, 3.0. They have more rubber than the non-M stock bushings. We have found the increased volume of rubber helps the bushings last longer and have better steering response due to less deflection of the bushing. These bushings can actually help reduce vibrations produced by the mass of larger wheels or brakes.
For convenience, we carry the steel bushing carrier brackets (part# TSU9995PB3) with new hardware which will save you downtime caused by pressing out the old bushings and pressing in the new bushings.

This package of mounts includes the front and rear mounts that should also be installed when replacing your struts and shocks. Don't overlook your rubber suspension mounts as they wear out just as fast (or faster) as the shocks themselves. Installing these new mounts does not take any additional time, effort, or special tools. These are direct replacements for the mounts already on the car.

Rear shock mount gaskets We offer three varieties of the rear shock mounts - OEM, Repair Shop, and HP alum-rubber. We recommend either the Repair Shop or HP mounts because the stock OEM design has a flaw that can lead to premature failure of the mounts. The Repair Shop and HP mounts use a different design that will last longer and the Repair Shop mounts also have a lifetime warranty!

These bushings have the hole off-center to give your car a little more track, caster, and camber. They are a solid rubber bushing that is great for the street. These came as standard equipment on E30 M3s (8/89-later) and 1995 E36 M3s.
