This muffler stands as the ideal choice for dedicated racers, turbocharged engines, nitrous oxide fuel systems, or vehicles equipped with wild cam applications. It boasts a 2.25" inlet, a 24" overall length, and a 4" diameter round, angle-cut tip.

Kindly note that this muffler is of universal fit for rear exhaust and may necessitate welding or fabrication for installation, as it is not a direct bolt-on component for any specific vehicle.

After Supersprint headers is the E38 section 1 exhaust. The stock section 1 contains a set of restrictive catalytic converters. For off-road or competition use Supersprint offers cat-delete Test Pipes or sport metallic catalytic converters. With improved flow from larger piping and less-restrictive cat performance and throttle response will increase as well as increase sound and reduced weight. The straight-flow cat design allows much better flow than the stock cats, giving a significant horsepower and torque gain and a throaty sound. Supersprint section 1 are a direct fit to Supersprint headers but will not fit with stock exhaust manifolds. A Supersprint section 2 is recommended after these.

Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

This is a race exhaust system which deletes stock cats or uses sport catalyzers designed for maximum flow while still reducing vehicle emissions. This part alters or deletes the emissions equipment on your car, and may not meet emissions standards in all states.
