These front adjustable camber/caster plates will replace your stock front upper strut bearing. The KMAC plates are a 'floating' design so camber and caster are adjusted together. This design allows maximum range of adjustment since no other hardware interferes with the adjustments. Since these replace your stock strut bearings they are designed to work with a stock-type spring only. And when installed correctly will not significantly alter ride height. Adjustment is easily done by loosening the three nuts on top of the tower and sliding the camber plate into the position you want, then re-tighten the nuts. These mounts can be installed two ways - for camber correction or swapped side-side for increasing negative camber. Detailed instructions included.

Note: suspensions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Turner Motorsport cannot be responsible for fitment issues caused by non-stock or specialized coil-over suspensions. As with any race-derived component, additonal fabrication may be required.

Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This in turn reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.

Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. The BMW E60/E61 M5 Front Sway Bar Bushings & Plate Kit (26.5 mm) by Powerflex is an essential upgrade for enhancing the handling and responsiveness of the BMW M5. This kit is specifically engineered to replace the factory sway bar bushings and includes high-quality polyurethane bushings that fit sway bars with a 26.5 mm diameter.

Detailed Overview:

  1. Durable Polyurethane Bushings: Unlike the stock rubber bushings, Powerflex bushings are made of durable polyurethane. This material is more resistant to wear, oil, and other contaminants, making it ideal for both street and track use. Polyurethane offers a firmer feel than rubber, reducing unwanted flex and improving sway bar performance.

  2. Sway Bar Compatibility: Designed to fit the 26.5 mm front sway bar found on BMW E60 (sedan) and E61 (wagon/touring) M5 models, this kit provides an exact fit without the need for modification.

  3. Enhanced Performance: The stiffer bushings reduce sway bar movement under load, improving the car’s stability during cornering, reducing body roll, and enhancing overall vehicle control. This results in sharper, more responsive steering and better handling, especially under aggressive driving conditions.

  4. Corrosion-Resistant Plates: The included plates are designed to resist corrosion and ensure a solid, secure mounting for the bushings, contributing to the longevity and reliability of the entire suspension system.

  5. Long-Lasting Design: Polyurethane bushings have a longer service life compared to traditional rubber bushings, providing a durable and cost-effective solution to maintaining precise handling over time.

Advantages:

  • Reduces body roll for improved handling.
  • Increases durability and lifespan of suspension components.
  • Resistant to environmental factors like oil, heat, and road debris.
  • Direct fitment for easy installation with no additional modifications needed.

This Powerflex Front Sway Bar Bushings & Plate Kit is a must-have upgrade for M5 owners seeking improved handling, longevity, and performance without sacrificing ride quality.

These urethane performance bushings replace the stock rubber front upper control arm bushings on the 2006-2010 E60 525xi/528xi/530xi/535xi xDrive AWD models. Stock rubber control arm bushings give a disconnected and mushy feel to the front suspension, especially when worn as the bushing deflects more than it should. You get sloppy steering, vibrations, and poor handling which makes the car feel unstable. These urethane bushings are stiffer than stock rubber and will not deflect as much. This helps keep the alignment in check with less variation. The car feels more planted and confidence-inspiring. And a limited lifetime warranty means you'll likely never have to pay for another bushing ever again.

The Powerflex Rear Lower Arm Rear Bushing for the BMW E60 5 Series, E63 6 Series, E53 X5, and E39 5 Series, designed for a 14mm fitting, is a performance-oriented upgrade that enhances the functionality of the rear suspension system. By replacing the stock rubber bushings with high-quality polyurethane, this bushing offers multiple advantages for improved handling and stability.

Key Benefits:

  1. Improved Handling Dynamics: The firmer polyurethane construction reduces flex and unwanted movement in the rear lower arm, resulting in enhanced cornering stability and overall handling. This upgrade helps drivers feel more in control during aggressive driving and tight turns.

  2. Superior Durability: Unlike traditional rubber bushings that can wear out and degrade over time, Powerflex bushings are designed to withstand harsh conditions. They resist damage from oil, heat, and road debris, ensuring consistent performance and longevity.

  3. Enhanced Steering Feedback: By minimizing unwanted movement within the rear suspension, these bushings provide better road feedback and improved steering response. This results in a more connected and engaging driving experience, allowing drivers to feel more attuned to their vehicle.

  4. Easy Installation: Specifically designed for the E60, E63, E53, and E39 models, these bushings are a direct fit into the existing suspension components. The installation process is straightforward, requiring no modifications and making it an ideal upgrade for DIY enthusiasts.

  5. Versatile Performance: Whether for daily driving or performance-oriented applications, these bushings help optimize the rear suspension geometry, enhancing tire contact with the road and improving handling capabilities in various driving conditions.

This upgrade is ideal for BMW owners looking to enhance their vehicle's rear suspension performance. The Powerflex Rear Lower Arm Rear Bushing for the 14mm fitting is a reliable solution for improving handling, stability, and overall driving enjoyment, making it suitable for both everyday use and spirited driving scenarios.

Location: Front
Type: Street/Track, Stage 2
Bearings: main PTFE-lined pillow-ball bearing suspended in polyurethane; self-lubricating radial axial bearing/bushing in upper spring plate
Springs: includes OEM size upper spring perch, 60mm upper spring perch, and 2.5" upper spring perch

The Stage 3 KMAC plates are a mixed track and street camber/caster plate meant to be used in a variety of suspensions and setups. Since there is less bushing than on the Stage 1, more noise and vibration will reach the driver. The adjustment design is similar to the Stage 1 with a floating mount that sets camber and caster simultaneously. This design allows maximum range of adjustment since no other hardware interferes with the adjustments. These plates can work on both coil over and stock-stype suspensions and upper spring perches are included for OEM springs, 60mm, and 2.5" coil over springs. The upper perch assembly incorporate a self-sliding radial bushing that allows the spring to spin during its travel instead of bind. This reduces tension on the spring and helps reduce noise and spring 'popping' noises. Bearing inserts, spacers for correct articulating angles, and 3 sizes of upper nut adapters included. The urethane bushings and bearings are replaceable if they wear out. These are designed mainly for adding negative camber for improved handling and not for camber correction back to stock settings (see Stage 1 kit). Basic instructions included but professional installation is required.

Note: suspensions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The proper stacked height and clearances are required. K-Mac includes bearing adapters, spacers, and various top nuts but it is still the responsibility of the installer to ensure a correct and safe fitment. As with any race-derived component, additonal fabrication may be required.

KMAC Stage 3 camber/caster plates are designed for track or race-only situations where comfort and noise are not the primary concerns. The Stage 3 camber plates use a pillowball bearing, solidly mounted within the camber plate for direct alignment of the strut shaft and no excess play or deflection. Stage 3 are designed to increase negative camber with their patented 'floating' adjustment that changes camber and caster together. This design allows maximum range of adjustment since no other hardware interferes with the adjustments. Fitment is limited to race-only small diameter coil-over springs (not stock-type).

Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. While OE rubber bushings are fine when they are new from the factory, aged and worn out rubber bushings create a multitude of issues that can range from annoying to dangerous. As a factory bushing ages, it begins to harden and become brittle. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow for movement at the differential mounting point. At this point, the differential is free to shift under load causing a noticeable clunking noise under acceleration and deceleration and massively increasing the stress on the driveshaft and axles. Manual transmissions suffer the worst from this as it can make shifting difficult since the differential will shift when the clutch is engaged and disengaged.

By replacing these bushings with full polyurethane, the movement is eliminated since the mounting point is supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. This means less stress on the driveshaft and axles and greater longevity of supporting components.

Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane differential bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved acceleration response, more direct shifting feel and overall improved drivetrain composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings.

By replacing the bushings with full polyurethane this play is eliminated since the subframe is being held in place by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering and acceleration inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

The Powerflex silicone grease is the only lubricant we suggest for long, squeak free operation. The lubricant contains silicone that resists heat and water and keeps a more constant viscosity to allow it to stay in the bushing as temperatures increase. The lubricant also does not lose it's lubrication properties over time like an anti-seize type lubricant. Each pack will lube 2 large bushings or 4 small.
