The heater radiator uses hot engine coolant passing through the core to create heat to warm the cabin. The blower motor moves this heated air into the interior of the car. If a heater core develops a crack or leak, it is likely that moisture will condense on the inside of the windows and the smell of anti-freeze may be apparent.
