Meyle HD BMW Driveshafts for BMW 7 Series E65 (2002-2008)

Got a vibration through the driveline on your BMW? Did you know that the u-joints are not replaceable on a factory driveshaft? Our remanufactured driveshafts allow for future replacement of u-joints and are rebuilt to a higher specification than the factory driveshaft. We start with OEM u-joints and then machine yokes onto the driveshaft to allow for future u-joint replacement. All bushings, universal joints, center bearings are replaced with new hardware (flex discs are not included but available separately). The whole unit is then dynamically balanced on a precision Axiline Balancer.

Positioned between the transmission and driveshaft, the giubo (or guibo) joint is a flexible rubber coupling designed to connect driveline components. It reduces vibrations while accommodating limited flexibility. Over time, the rubber can deteriorate due to torque stress and heat, leading to hardening and wear. A failing joint is a common source of driveline noise and vibration. Regular maintenance should include inspecting the joint for heat-related cracks or tears in the rubber. Prompt replacement of damaged joints is crucial to prevent further damage, costly repairs, or potential vehicle breakdown.
