Positioned between the transmission and driveshaft, the giubo (or guibo) joint is a flexible rubber coupling designed to connect driveline components. It reduces vibrations while accommodating limited flexibility. Over time, the rubber can deteriorate due to torque stress and heat, leading to hardening and wear.
