Because BMW does not provide this specific component as a standalone replacement, owners are often left with few official repair options. Pure Turbos solves this problem with an upgraded actuator engineered to fix the inherent weaknesses of the original equipment while simultaneously boosting the efficiency of the entire turbocharging system. One of the primary benefits of this enhanced actuator is its ability to deliver approximately 2 psi of additional boost compared to the factory unit while maintaining the same Wastegate Duty Cycle. By optimizing how exhaust gases are managed and bypassed, this component allows the engine to generate more power without requiring more effort from the electronics.
