Our polyester tow strap is far and above the best tow strap available for the modern BMW chassis. We use a heavy-duty, chemical-resistant polyester strap webbed around a stainless steel stud. There is plenty of length available for tow hooks to grab onto without hitting your bumper and damaging paint or causing cracks. The precision-cut stud is fits E30 (89+), E36, E46, E82, E90, E92, Z3, and Z4. We have further refined the shape and size of the bolt so that spoiler modifications are kept to a minimum. Note that on some models you may need to modify the bumper slightly for the best fit.

A tow strap is a better pickup point than a fixed steel ring, which will add weight and protrude past the bumper. Some racing series have banned the steel rings because they increase the likelihood of contact during close racing. Our straps are sold in bright red, bright blue, or black (red suggested for racing use as it makes it easy for tow truck operators and safety crews to spot). On some models, the strap may be tucked behind the bumper panel when not on track, which makes this perfect for dual-use track/street cars and full racecars alike. Priced per strap so order two for the front and rear.

Ditch the boring and overstated factory chrome front grilles and get a darker and more aggressive look on your car. These replacement grilles are made from ABS plastic with a carbon fiber weave on the exterior frame. Carbon fiber is replacing chrome and aluminum as the most desired decorative trim. Since it has its roots in aerospace and motorsports the look gives off the impression of cutting-edge technology and lightness. But our suppliers have improved the fit and finish of carbon’s inherently rough appearance. There are several quality grades to carbon fiber weave and we would put this right in the middle. It’s a good quality carbon weave without costing hundreds more like an Original BMW carbon part would. We inspect each grille for finish imperfections and quality issues so you’re getting only the ones we approve. If you want to complete the carbon fiber makeover on your car check out our other carbon grilles, emblems, trim, and spoilers. But please note that we source our carbon products from multiple suppliers and the carbon pattern will vary. Our grilles are sold in pairs – one for the left and one for the right. Installation is easy as they snap out and then snap back in.

The external temperature sensor on a BMW is placed within the underbody plastics that extend very close to the road. As a result it's easy to damage by rolling into a low curb or parking lot tire stop. The first sign you may have a problem with your external temperature sensor is if you have a really low reading. This is caused by the sensor either being damaged, missing or having an open circuit; the wires leading to the sensor may have torn off in an impact.

 

Includes solder filled heat shrink connectors, contact leads with wire, plug housing, temperature sensor, 10 pack of zip ties, and a panel mount zip tie for mounting the sensor.
