For optimal installation, consider using the 3/8 Female to 3/8 Male SAE Quick Disconnect Adapter with a 1/8" NPT port on an ethanol sensor or the 5/16 Female to 5/16 Male SAE Quick Disconnect Adapter with a 1/8" NPT port on a factory fuel line. Please note that the ethanol sensor is not included.

If you're experiencing hard starting, flaky charging, or other electrical issues, your engine ground strap may be the culprit. On E70/E71 BMWs, the engine ground strap is a thin, non-insulated cable that spans from the left engine mount arm to the frame horn.
