Racing seats can become uncomfortable as the thin padding of the seat begins to compress. If you're planning on sitting in the seat for any extended periods of time, a base cushion is the perfect addition. This OMP seat cushion is 1.5" of firm, but comfortable and supportive, foam that attaches to the velour seat fabric using Velcro strips. The seat cushion is covered in black velour fabric that is flame-retardant and has an OMP logo embroidered in the center. The cushion is 13" long and 11" wide.

Measuring in at 13" by 8.5" by 3.5", it is fastened to the velour fabric of the seat with Velcro strips. This is an OMP performance RS-PT2 Fiberglass racing seat. The seat internal frame is fiberglass and the entire seat upholstery is velour material. Fiberglass gives strength and light weight and the velour adds to the comfort of the seat. The main backrest pads and leg pad are both exchangeable with different sized pads for a more custom fit. The large shoulder harness slots allow for a variety of driver heights.

Many racing series and event organizers are requiring 5 or 6-point harnesses in their events now. Attaching the anchor points to the seat base is a desired alternative to drilling holes in your floor and carpet*. This set includes the 6-point anchor to attach to the Macht Schnell floor mount as well as side attachments for either a bolt-in or snap-in harness.

* - note that most racing harness manufacturers will advise that drilling through the floor is the best method for mounting harnesses. This allows you to locate the mount in the ideal location and angle to fit your driving position. The proper installation is paramount to ensure the harness works correctly in an impact.
