A test fitment kit can be your best friend when installing a new set of wheels. Many aftermarket wheels have offset dimensions that differ from OE. This can cause the tire/wheel to contact the suspension components or worse, not clear the brake calipers. Precise measurement can usually indicate how much compensation is needed; however, when it comes to fine tuning the aesthetic factor its is best to try a few different sizes and select a size that looks the best while allowing sufficient clearance on both sides of the wheel.
