BMW use the IBS, or Intelligent Battery Sensor, to determine not only the state of charge but also the batteries health and life expectancy. Using this data the car's charging system can appropriately supply the battery with the correct voltage, no matter the age.
Comes as a single cable with terminal and IBS Sensor pre-installed.
