BMW Intake Boots & Hoses for BMW 3 Series E90 (2006-2011)

The intake boot provides a pathway for air from the air flow sensor to the intake manifold. On most BMWs the boot is made of rubber with an accordian shape that allows the engine to shift and vibrate. As with any rubber component the rubber can dry out and crack and that can lead to serious running and drivability issues. A crack in the boot means that air is entering the engine that is not being monitored by the airflow sensor. The engine computer relies on data from the airflow sensor to set the fuel mixture in the engine. Excess unmetered air can result in lean condition faults, rough running, misfires, and other performance issues. For misfire and lean condition faults, check your intake boots first.

As an alternative to the original rubber, we also offer silicone boots that are both stronger and last longer with a 4-layer silicone design. Samco silicone boots can also decrease your BMW's intake turbulence and restriction by replacing the accordian design with a smoothed internal surface. Samco boots are also perfect as part of a kit to eliminate the factory traction control system (sometimes called an ASC delete boot).

The intake boot is a regular issue especially for BMW's, nearly all vehicles have a boot manufactured from rubber with an accordion section in the design for flexibility. This flexible section is typically where the failure comes from leading to vacuum leak engine codes, rough idle, and increase fuel consumption. 

When you upgrade to a Turner silicone intake boot you get a perfect fit that will not only outlast the OE design (meaning any vacuum leaks and rough idle), while also smoothing out airflow within the intake tract. This boot also eliminates the factory intake resonator giving your engine a much more aggressive sound under the hood especially at higher rpm. Available in black or Turner blue color, our intake boot offers either a pop of color or a cohesive, complementary look in your engine bay.

The Turner Motorsport silicone intake boot is manufactured with 5 layers of wire reinforced silicone to prevent collapse under load. Engineered in-house utilizing 3D scanning technology, this boot offers perfect fitment with the factory air box and either single stage or three stage (high output N52) intake manifolds.

Install as a standalone reliability improvement or in addition to our three stage intake manifold and Turner performance tune (available here).

Replaces OE intake boot 13717536004.

This often leads to cracks, splits, or even complete failure, allowing your turbos to suck in unfiltered air. To prevent this from happening to you, we are proud to present our very own Turner Motorsport N54 Silicone Turbo Inlet Hoses! Silicone inlet hoses are extremely reliable, resisting heat and pressure significantly better than plastic. This is perfect people who are just looking for a simple, reliable upgrade, or people who want to push the limits of their BMW and are looking to make more boost and more power without worrying about failing inlets. Available in two sizes, our kits can support either stock (44mm) or upgraded (50mm) turbos and include adapters to reconnect your turbo bypass pipes. If you plan to upgrade your charge pipes, replace the stock diverter valves with aftermarket atmospheric blow-off-valves, or want to convert your BMW to a catch can system, we also recommend the optionally available Turner Motorsport N54 Inlet Hose Plug Kit. This kit blocks off the turbo bypass pipe connections and PCV connections that will no longer be needed.
