The oil filter pedestal, often prone to failure due to its plastic construction, can be a source of oil leaks in your BMW engine. Exposure to flowing engine oil and heat over time can lead to cracks in this critical component, resulting in oil leakage down the side of the engine block. Oil leaks from the pedestal can cause significant fluid loss between changes, potentially leading to engine damage. Thankfully, URO Parts offers a cost-effective OE solution for this issue.
