This low-pressure fuel sensor is commonly a cause of an "Increased Emissions" warning on the idrive and for check engine (SES) lights on BMW's with the N54 6 cylinder turbo engine or the S65 V8 engine in the M3. It will also fit a limited number of cars with the N55 engine. This sensor can be traced to a number of drivability issues, including cold start running problems, misfires, stumbling, hesitations, and overall rough running. You will likely have a code for the misfires, rich condition, or for the sensor itself. In some cases, the combination of codes can bring about a limp mode. Replacing this sensor is an easy and inexpensive first step if you're having any of these issues. From 1974 to 2019, Bavarian Autosport was one of the premier vendors for BMW and MINI auto parts. This is a complete plug and play kit to install a Bluetooth ethanol sensor in your E-Series BMW. (Check compatibility for your platform below) This kit replaces the stock fuel lines from the fuel tank to the engine bay with an upgrade -6an E85 compatible fuel line and adds an ethanol sensor and Bluetooth analyzer to monitor your ethanol content. This kit features a 0-5 volt analog output that integrates with the JB4, analog gauge, or any other ECU or tuner that supports 0-5 volt input. All of these kits utilize a custom billet aluminum fittings to integrate with the stock fittings so no modifications are needed. For your fuel line upgrade, choose the option that supports your current configuration. HPFP to the fuel tank: (Stock) This upgrade replaces both stock fuel lines with one upgraded continuous fuel line from the fuel tank to the HPFP and adds the ethanol sensor. Port Injection to the fuel tank: If you are running our port injection kit, this upgrade replaces the stock fuel lines from the tank to the engine bay, integrates the ethanol sensor and then utilizes a Y adapter to supply the HPFP and PI with fuel. Our custom fittings remove those tee's and extra fittings for a cleaner high flow setup. Non-Fuel-It! port injection to fuel tank: Choose this option if you are running a port injection kit that we did not manufacture or sell. This kit includes a longer 18" feedline from the Y to the port injection rail. Are you running more E85 or making more power on pump gas than your HPFP (High-Pressure Fuel Pump) can support?

Fuel-it has developed a port injection kit for your S55 that will provide you with the additional fueling capacity that you need to be able to run up to 100% E85 on stock or upgraded turbos.

What is port injection?

Port injection is a kit that is installed between your intake manifold and the cylinder head that runs off the low-pressure supply to provide you with more fueling than your stock system is capable of. It's a relatively easy system to install and does not require any permanent modification to your car.

Port injection kits are offered in five different packages to meet your needs:

Base port injection kit: (included in Bronze, Silver or Platinum Kits)

Fuel-It! custom black anodized spacer for the intake manifold
Fuel-It! custom black anodized fuel rail
Black anodized aluminum and stainless steel hardware
Dual fuel supply port for those that are running inlets in the stock location (email us for info)
Optional return port for those that will be running an upgraded fuel pressure regulator
Six of the following:
- Flow matched Bosch injectors (52#)
- Extended length steel bolts for mounting your new spacer
- BMW OEM gaskets

Bronze kit includes:
