This upper shock tower bearing/ strut mount is located at the top of the shock. We recommend inspecting or replacing these while replacing the front shocks.

Any change of your M3 struts and shocks should include new mounts. Installing new bushings and mounts is very easy when changing the shocks - there's no additional time or no special tools required!
