The factory BMW charge pipes are prone to cracking, as they are made from brittle plastic. Here at Turner, we sell several brands of replacement charge pipes that are typically made from cast aluminum. We recommend upgrading to hard charge pipes even on stock forced induction vehicles to avoid cracking - we've seen cracking occur on high mileage cars running stock power just as frequently as we do with high horsepower builds.
MMX's high-flow charge pipe kit includes everything needed to improve the performance, reliability, and aesthetics of your F-Chassis M5 or M6. Smooth bore pipework improves airflow over stock and due to reducing deformation of the hoses under load or vacuum, the MMR charge pipes also improve throttle response and power output.
