Fade free material capable of a wide range of operating temperatures More braking power without the increased cost Red "brake in" surface coating for instant safe braking after install. EBC Redstuff brake pads are designed for high performance models that are driven aggressively on the street. Featuring a low dusting compound, that offers stopping power even when your brake discs are cold. This material is a Kevlar fiber based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles. If you have previously tried EBC Redstuff (pre-ceramic compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer, it brakes better and is quieter. Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their disc (brake rotor). This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking.

In 2021, the formulation was updated to remove copper for environmental compliance, resulting in a longer lifespan but also a longer bedding-in period. As a result, Yellowstuff is no longer recommended for track use and is best suited for high-performance street driving and heavy-duty applications such as towing with trucks and SUVs. For track day use, EBC now recommends Bluestuff pads, which offer quicker bed-in times and better performance in racing conditions while remaining street-friendly.

We recommend replacing the brake sensor wire each time the brake pads are replaced. These often become brittle and will disintegrate while removing them from the old pads. This sensor is mounted on the rear.

For spirited street use on lighter sports sedans and hot hatches, Greenstuff 2000 series is a perfect choice. As an eco-friendly pad grade, EBC Greenstuff 2000 contains no lead, copper, or toxic sulfides to comply with all environmental legislation and is a direct replacement for your stock or original pads reducing stopping distances and improving brake response. Not ideal for track use, although many drivers have used Greenstuff 2000 for Hillclimb and lighter cars on the track For even faster street driving you might consider the EBC Yellowstuff grade or for race use the EBC new Bluestuff or RP and SR series pads
