The factory BMW charge pipes are prone to cracking, as they are made from brittle plastic. Here at Turner, we sell several brands of replacement charge pipes that are typically made from cast aluminum. We recommend upgrading to hard charge pipes even on stock forced induction vehicles to avoid cracking - we've seen cracking occur on high mileage cars running stock power just as frequently as we do with high horsepower builds.

The Black Market Parts (by Precision Raceworks) OE-Spec Charge Pipe O-Ring is made out of Viton and is capable of withstanding all fuels (including e85) as well as oils. These o-rings are made to OE specifications and are a direct replacement for the seal found in your factory or aftermarket charge pipe.
