FITMENT NOTE: For G-Chassis models (G20, G22), the cutoff build date of 08/2020 is important as cars produced after that date have a downpipe with different bracket locations. Cars with a build date of 08/2020 and earlier have the brackets in a V configuration. Cars with a build date of 09/2020 and later have the brackets in a straight line and require Active Autowerke p/n 11-065G

One of the complaints about turbocharged engines is that they are too quiet. Even on a high-performance model like the M-tuned 235i there is only so much the factory will do to make a sport exhaust. If you're looking for a little more pop and snarl from your exhaust, the Supersprint straight pipe and performance muffler will be a good choice. This front section is a direct replacement for the stock 235i/335/435/M2 exhaust with one key difference - the Supersprint uses full 80mm piping for improved flow out of the turbo. One of the best and easiest ways of getting more power from a stock turbo is by helping it push exhaust gas and larger and smoother exhaust piping will help with that. Where the stock system is bent and crimped, the Supersprint is a full 80mm along its entire length. This section 1 will fit to the stock or Supersprint turbo downpipe and a stock or Supersprint section 2 exhaust.

This resonator fits in front of the muffler and takes the place of the stock resonator. With larger 76mm piping and a Supersprint resonator tuned for the rest of the exhaust, this section flows better than the original. The resonator keeps the engine noise from being excessively loud (a requirement for European noise regulations) but if more sound is desired a non-resonated section is also available.
