This race intercooler will allow for more horsepower gains by reducing intake temperatures and preventing heat soak. Prior to testing this intercooler, VRSF found that a 2nd-4th gear pull would result in a 55-60 degree rise in temperature on an OEM setup. However, with the VRSF Race intercooler, there was actually a reduction in temperature in the same pull.
