Turner Motorsport Charge Pipes & Turbo Inlets for BMW 3 Series F31 (2014+)

The factory BMW charge pipes are prone to cracking, as they are made from brittle plastic. Here at Turner, we sell several brands of replacement charge pipes that are typically made from cast aluminum. We recommend upgrading to hard charge pipes even on stock forced induction vehicles to avoid cracking - we've seen cracking occur on high mileage cars running stock power just as frequently as we do with high horsepower builds.

The factory F3x N20 charge pipe is made from plastic to reduce weight and manufacturing costs. While this is great for the production line and the sticker price, it doesn't hold up well as the engine ages or in the case of increased power.

Replacing the weak plastic stock part with a solid aluminum one like this will ensure proper functionality under higher levels of boost and eliminate wear caused by the heating and cooling of plastic pipes. You can also safely turn up the boost on your N20 once this kit is installed, and not worry about the problematic factory piece.

Whether you have a stock car and are looking for improved throttle response and peace of mind, or a high boost monster in search of reliability in your big horsepower build, this charge pipe is the solution.

6061-T6 Aluminum construction for increased durability over the factory plastic charge pipe. Can withstand higher boost pressures while offering OE-like fitment.
Billet CNC throttle body flange for OEM fitment
Mandrel bent 70mm tubing (larger than stock) for improved airflow and increased performance.
Black powder coated for exceptional durability and corrosion resistance.
4-ply reinforced silicone hose and 6061-T6 powder coated aluminum coupler to retain factory fitment to intercooler.
Silicone provides a smooth transition from intercooler outlet to throttle body diameter to maximize flow and volumetric efficiency

The N20 OE charge pipe is often prone to failure; after constant heat cycling, the factory plastic becomes very brittle, leading to cracks and boost leaks, and ultimately entire part failures. The OE charge pipe has also been proven to break once under increased boost pressure.
