This axle-back exhaust system is manufactured entirely from titanium. This makes this system ideal for cutting weight while being structurally stronger than the OE exhaust system. The engineers at Akrapovic have retained the dual mode exhaust flap control from the original system. This allows the vehicle to have a more civilized, but deeper than stock sound at low speed. However, at higher RPM (or when selecting the S mode on the gearshift) the muffler is bypassed, creating a deep and sporty sound much more in keeping with the personality of the car. The included exhaust pipe tips are made completely from titanium OR a carbon fiber/titanium composite to add a high-end, refined style. Performance has not been left out of the design. The system dramatically reduces backpressure and is an excellent starting point for further engine tuning or turbo modifications. Even when installed on an otherwise stock vehicle a gain of 7.3 horsepower and 17.4 Nm/12.8 lbs-ft of torque are achieved. Furthermore, a weight reduction of 3.0 kg/6.6 lbs. is realized. The Planted Seat Bracket is a vehicle specific bracket used as an adapter between the floor of the vehicle and an aftermarket seat and it's accessories. Because the floor of each vehicle varies and typically is not flat, a vehicle specific Seat Bracket is required for installing an aftermarket seat. Planted creates each seat bracket using the floor of the vehicle as a reference. Each vehicle is brought into our development center so we can create the best fitting, bolt in, universal seat bracket possible. Planted Seat Brackets are laser cut from 3/16 inch thick steel and hand welded to ensure weld penetration for superior strength. Each bracket is pre-slotted with hole patterns to accept sliders from most major seat manufacturers like Braum, Bride*, Cipher Auto, Cobra**, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Sparco, Status Racing, Takata and more. There is extra space on the bracket for drilling your own hole pattern if using a slider with a less common hole pattern, or direct mounting a seat or side mount when eliminating sliders is preferred. They are finished with a black powder coat. *Bride sliders are generally made to be vehicle specific so need to have the "feet" removed to make them "universal." Bride sliders typically require drilling a new hole pattern into the Planted Seat Bracket because they come in many different widths. **Cobra sliders come in Narrow and Wide versions.
