The next step in tuning your car's handling - after shocks/springs and camber plates - should be a set of swaybars. Using larger front and rear sway bars will give your car better/quicker turn-in and less bodyroll in corners. These bars replace the existing sway bars on the car for a clean and simple upgrade with very little downside. Sway bars should be matched with your springs/shocks to maintain a proper handling balance. In some cases only a front or rear bar is needed to positively change the balance and make the car more neutral. We sell sway bar kits from H&R, Racing Dynamics, OE BMW upgrades, and even some of our own designs. Swaybars are sold with new bushings. New links and other hardware are strongly recommended.

OEM end links were designed to compliment standard ride height but when this is changed the car will now be pulling your anti-roll bar ends up, pushing it out of its operating window, and forcing the link to sit at a sharper angle. MMR Performance adjustable drop links are an essential upgrade to any lowered or performance car. When you lower your BMW without changing out your swaybar end links, a significant amount of preload is applied to the swaybar. This can negatively affect the handling characteristics of your vehicle and cause unwanted stress on a number of other suspension components. Dinan sway bars are carefully engineered to match the driving dynamics of each BMW chassis. Dinan's research and development finds the ideal balance between improved handling while maintaining a comfortable ride. This set has been fine-tuned for the F8X M3/M4 and F87 M2 chassis to reduce bodyroll, improve steering and turn-in response, and reduce understeer. The front and rear bars are hollow tubular steel for light weight with adjustable ends to dial in the handling characteristics. These are the same sway bars used in Dinan's Stage 1 suspension and work best with Dinan shocks and springs or a similar sport suspension.
