These heavy-duty clutch kits use aluminum lightweight flywheels with sport clutch components to give your clutch the grip and clamping force it needs to cope with high torque upgrades. Our kits were developed through racing programs by companies affiliated with our own race team - JB Racing, Sachs Sport, OS Giken, and UUC Motorwerks. JB Racing is the leader in aluminum lightweight flywheel upgrades. They are direct replacements for the stock dual-mass flywheels with steel contact surfaces and computer balanced to 14,000 RPM. JB has partnered with Sachs to spec sport/HD clutch discs and pressure plates that work seamlessly with their aluminum flywheels. The result is a clutch/flywheel upgrade package that functions a lot like the original clutch combo with near-stock levels of effort and engangement but with a much higher torque capacity. Upgraded clutch plate with organic rigid disc designed to be used with OEM flywheel. 70% Increased Holding Capacity The FX100 System uses the Power Plus I Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate with a steel backed organic friction material disc. This clutch is engineered for street driven vehicles and is specifically designed for extended wear and additional clamping force for the enthusiast who has added minor bolt-ons such as an exhaust and or intake system, up to 50hp NO2, or other non-forced induction external bolt ons. It features only slightly increased pedal pressure over factory, longer life than stock, and normal clutch feel during engagement and disengagement for a very smooth operation. Heavy-Duty Disc Steel Backed Organic Friction Material Marcel Spring Wafer OEM or better Release Bearing Pilot Bearing (when applicable) Alignment Tool Instruction Card Decals *Organic/ Kevlar/ Fiber-Tough Clutch kits are expected and tend to have a higher life expectancy than OEM, however not guaranteed. Upgraded clutch plate with solid Fiber-Tough disc designed to be used with OEM flywheels. 110% Increase in Holding Capacity The FX350 System uses the Power Plus I, Hi-Levarage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate utilizing our Fiber-Tough friction material. This clutch has a slightly increased holding capacity then the FX300 but will have a slightly more aggressive engagement and will produce some chatter. Similar to the FX300 this clutch is designed for the serious street enthusiast who also might spend a weekend and the track and is running a normally aspirated car that has been highly tuned with cylinder head work such as cams, or with a medium-boost turbo or supercharger setup, or up to 100hp NO2.
