When connected on iOS, copy your WiFi settings from Automatic to Manual and leave the Router field empty. This leaves your Mobile data connection active while connected with the vehicle.

The BMS Pedal Tuner is a BMW Performance Chip with a pre-programmed internal chip that intercepts the stock signals from your BMW's electronic control unit (ECU) and changes them to achieve better performance by adjusting the air-fuel ratio and spark timing. Made specifically for the BMW inline six-cylinder motors. The PBX also has an adjustable throttle feature that can be combined with the Performance chip feature by selecting a setting or "map". The BMS Pedal Tuner contains both a performance chip which gives you an extra 8-10 Horsepower at the wheels and an adjustable throttle boost feature that makes the gas pedal send a boosted throttle signal in increments of 30%, 60%, and 100% over the stock BMW signal. Depending on what setting/ "map" you select you can create a perfect blend of throttle response. The BMS Pedal Tuner will make your vehicle more responsive, spirited and fun to drive. It will make your vehicle faster by increasing the horsepower and torque. It works well with other modifications like intakes and exhausts, but can also be used alone. It will remove the "dead space" when you push on the non-responsive stock BMW accelerator. It changes the way the car drives and feels. You can turn it on and off from the comfort of your driver's seat to feel the difference. The BMS Pedal Tuner is a clear choice. When BMW began using the "Drive-by-wire" throttle system in 2001, a lot of people cringed. The Drive-by-wire system uses electronics to replace the mechanical cable throttle of the past. This means the electronics between the accelerator pedal and motorized throttle must interpret what your right foot does, and ultimately decides how the engine will respond. Although advanced in it's technology and engineering, many of us agree that the Drive-by-Wire equipped BMWs feel unresponsive and lack the crisp, sharp throttle response that older BMWs had with a traditional throttle cable. Like its predecessors, it is a highly engineered piece of computer hardware and software that enhances engine performance to levels the stock programming is not allowed to venture. It does this without affecting long-term reliability or the functionality of on-board diagnostic systems when run under recommended operating variables. Unlike its predecessor, however, the DINANTRONICS X is Bluetooth smart and offers convenient access to the adjustment of power levels directly from the palm of your hand. A further advancement beyond its entry-level little brother, the DINANTRONICS SPORT, X connects to additional inputs and has a more refined tuning strategy that yields more power as a result. For those that do not wish to (or can't) alter their stock ECU with a more robust engine flash the DINANTRONICS X is a perfect alternative to satiate the craving for "more". Whichever level of engine tuning is ultimately chosen you can be sure to be pleased with the result. The Dinan Difference is possible by employing a full staff of talented engineers that are well-rounded in many facets of automotive engineering and backed by a wealth of hands-on knowledge. Stemming from diverse backgrounds not only on racing teams but on standard factory production line vehicles, we have seen it all. Manipulating these signals/maps with an adept hand, all the while keeping an engine running at its best and with the most reliable power, is what Dinan is all about. The DINANTRONICS X offers an array of different power levels (maps). These maps range from a bypass/stock setting at map 0 to a maximum power setting at map 7. The unit is shipped in map 5. This middle ground setting should be acceptable for all vehicle/engine configurations. However, you can adjust up or down as you see fit for your needs and/or modifications. Please note however that for each map level we highly recommend the minimum fuel octane rating to run listed below. If you sense any unusual or unexpected behavior immediately turn down the map to a lower setting that did not exhibit the condition.
