Whether your S55-equipped BMW serves as a daily driver or track car, keeping temperatures cool is critical. While most enthusiasts focus on upgrading the radiator and water-to-air intercooler systems, the engine oil cooler is an overlooked yet critical component.
New for the F8X-generation M2, M3, and M4 is a low-slung, horizontally mounted oil cooler designed to harness underbody aerodynamics. By placing the cooler in a low-pressure zone, this design enhances airflow efficiency and achieves sustainable oil temperatures for stock and street-driven cars. However, the compact core is quickly overwhelmed on modified or track-driven vehicles. Its exposed mounting position also leaves it highly susceptible to impact damage, so a minor scrape or piece of road debris can mean a costly full replacement. If you’re already replacing your oil cooler, it’s the perfect time to upgrade!
Our engineering team set out to solve the shortcomings of the factory design by developing a larger, higher-capacity core that delivers measurable gains in thermal stability. With a 7% increase in core thickness over OEM, this upgraded unit enhances airflow through the cooler and helps maintain lower, more consistent oil temperatures under sustained load. Thanks to its robust bar-and-plate core, precision-formed sheet metal end tanks, and durable 5052 aluminum construction, it’s built to withstand the harsh realities of real-world performance driving.
Replaces OEM part numbers 17212284540 and 17214802333.
Features:
High-efficiency bar-and-plate core for superior heat dissipation Fully TIG-welded 5052 aluminum end tanks Retains OEM rubber mounting for vibration-isolated, factory-style fitment Black painted finish with laser-etched Turner logo Designed as a direct-fit replacement and upgrade for S55-equipped F8X vehicles Design:
7% thicker core (30mm vs 28mm) for increased thermal capacity 6.5% increase in finned area (104,000 mm² vs 97,650 mm²) for better cooling Compatible with the Turner Motorsport skid plate kit (ES#3448772, ES#3247792) for complete protection Product Development:
Our High Performance Aluminum Heat Exchanger was designed, engineered, tested, and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio, facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology, including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long-term product testing.
Put an end to drivetrain flex and destructive wheel hop. The S58 engine is an absolute torque monster, especially once you start tuning and turning up the boost. While aggressive launches and heavy acceleration are the best parts of owning these vehicles, the factory rear differential mounting wasn't designed to handle that kind of abuse.
The OEM soft rubber bushing allows excessive differential twist and flex under load. This deflection transfers massive, uneven force directly to the factory mounting bolt, leading to bending or catastrophic snapping. Our upgrade replaces that weak link, locking down your drivetrain to ensure every bit of horsepower reaches the pavement safely.
Features and Benefits:
95A Poly Isolator replacing the hollow, compliant stock rubber
Upgraded grade 12.9 M14x1.5 fastener to replace the factory 10.9 bolt that is prone to snapping
No noticeable compromise in ride quality and NVH that comes with a solid mount counterpart
Design:
95A Turner Blue Polyurethane isolator
6061-T6 Black anodized aluminum bushing sleeve
Optimized Sleeve and bushing press-fit, developed with years of Polyurethane subframe and differential bushing design
Zinc Yellow-Chromate plated Grade 12.9 Hardware
Two-piece sleeve design for ease of installation
Product Development:

Front and Rear brake lines for improved pedal feel. Zinc-Nickel plating for increased corrosion resistance and sleek low-profile design. Made in the USA.
Factory rubber brake hoses expand under pressure, requiring increased fluid volume and more pedal travel for the desired stopping force. What is often thought to be brake fade or fluid boiling, can actually be the brake lines expanding under pressure. This expansion is even more prominent in aged and weathered rubber hoses. Turner Stainless Steel brake lines are engineered and assembled with braided stainless steel mesh and offer superior expansion resistance and reinforcement. The resistance to expansion creates a firmer pedal, and a more direct pedal feel. The signature blue polymer coating provides additional protection from the elements and abrasion, which is common with the constant movement of suspension and braking systems.
When you buy brake lines, you want them to last for years to come. Conventional SS lines will corrode the first time they are exposed to water. Turner has developed a proprietary zinc-nickel coating finish with nearly twice the salt-spray corrosion resistance of a standard plating. Turner SS brake line also feature new low profile connecting hardware, for a cleaner mounted look. Get the brake lines that will continue to look as good as they feel!
All Turner brake lines are engineered to comply with DOT (U.S. Department of Transportation) FMVSS 106 standards. All lines are manufactured on dedicated, DOT-compliant brake equipment and each is tested to 3000 psi before being
shipped.
Turner Motorsport stocks a huge inventory of premium brake components, including pads, rotors, shoes, drums, hoses, hard lines, fluids, hardware, hi-temp lubricants, all the way up to complete brake rebuild kits. Everything you need to perform a professional quality brake service, you can find at Turner Motorsport!
Technical features:
Fully compliant with DOT Standards (MVSS-1006)
Lines burst-tested to 3000psi
(maximum tested pressure from a BMW braking system is 1200psi)
Zinc-Nickel coating for maximum corrosion resistance
Low profile connectors for clean and recessed look
