BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system relies on transfer case fluid to lubricate its internal gears and bearings, much like a differential. This fluid helps reduce friction and prevent premature wear from metal-on-metal contact. To maintain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your transfer case, we recommend draining and refilling the fluid approximately every 60,000 miles.

VTT now offers the ONLY easy-to-install, plug-and-play xDrive controller on the market. This device will allow you to turn off and on your xDrive capability from the driver's seat with a remote. While other options do exist such as X-Delete, or an in-dash gauge, one is a very slow process and is not viable to use as a way to do a burnout at the drag strip, and the other is a very expensive, AND very intrusive device that requires removal of most of the dash, and installing a gauge. VTT's solution takes 30 seconds to install once you gain access to the underside of the vehicle, and can be removed just as easily.
