Dinan's lightweight billet aluminum crankshaft pulley underdrives each of the accessories by 13 percent, reducing parasitic drag on the engine for a 6 HP @ 8000 RPM and 4 lb-ft torque @ 8000 RPM gain on a stock vehicle. The Dinan underdrive pulley retains the factory harmonic crankshaft damper, eliminating vibration that might otherwise damage the crankshaft. The kit includes all of the necessary mounting hardware, a lightweight pulley, and shorter belts. This product is backed by our industry-leading 4 year/50,000 mile warranty so you can rest assured that you are purchasing the best quality product for your BMW. Features: All accessories are underdriven by 13% to decrease drag on the engine. Lightweight billet aluminum crankshaft pulley, black anodized and engraved. Includes mounting hardware and shorter belts.

The vibration damper in the E70 X5 35d is a common failure item and can fail at as low as 60 thousand miles leaving you stranded. This kit includes everything needed to replace your vibration damper and service your drive belt system! Vibration Dampers (also called Harmonic Dampers or Harmonic Balancers) absorb and remove unwanted vibrations due to torsional twisting of the crankshaft. During cylinder combustions, the crank quickly flexes ever so slightly, resulting in resonance vibrations. These vibrations could lead to damage of the crankshaft or crank bearings over time if not accounted for. The vibration damper helps to eliminate these vibrations, thereby extending the life of your engine's mechanical components and preventing damage. If your vibration damper has failed, you will likely notice excess engine vibrations or shaking that will gradually get worse, especially around certain RPMs where the vibration resonance is most pronounced. This basic kit includes the components necessary to replace your damper with an OEM damper from Corteco, including two belts and the Corteco Vibration Damper pulley. Also included in this kit is a brand-new line of specialty tools from Schwaben designed specifically for this replacement! You will get a Crankshaft Pulley Turner Tool, Stretch Belt Remover/Installer, T50 Alternator Wrench, and a 15/16" Pass-Through Socket, all included to make swapping out your old damper a quick and easy process! Standard tools you might need but are not included: 8mm Drill Bit (to use as flywheel locking pin) 32mm Fan Clutch Wrench - You may want a second 32mm to hold the coupler in place 24mm Box Wrench - For releasing tensioner Torque Wrench - To torque new crankshaft bolts Breaker Bar - to drive the crankshaft bolts further
