The dual pump design used on the S55 engine installs onto the N55 engine easily and without the need for any major modification to the stock block or windage tray. Thanks to the addition of a scavenging pump, oil pressure and delivery are maintained under all aggressive driving conditions, even when the oil supply is not consistent from the main oil pump.
