Over time, the transmission fluid becomes thick and the filter becomes contaminated with small metal particles. This can cause excess wear, high transmission operating temperatures, and eventual failure. To prevent this we recommend changing your filter, fluid, and seals to ensure your transmission continues to operate flawlessly. We recommend filter and fluid changes every 50,000 miles. TURNER MOTORSPORT DOUBLE ADJUSTABLE SHORT SHIFT KIT

BMWs have historically been plagued by very long throw shifters from the factory - luckily, we've developed the solution. Our short shifter system is height- and throw-adjustable, offering up to a 52% reduction in throw over stock. Double adjustability enables you to find the sweet spot that will make you excited to drive your car again. Installation of this kit is also of the easiest to tackle. Compared to the competition, a custom bearing cup allows for easy installation from inside the car (on applications that use the stock shifter arm).

The dual-shear selector rod (DSSR) design spreads the torsional force of gear selections across the selector rod joint, reducing deflection for increased precision. This shifter bushing is designed to remove the shifter play caused by an old, failed rubber shifter bushing. Manufacturing the bushing from polyurethane instead of rubber reduces the amount of stretch caused by the moving part through the bushing. This maintains the direct crisp feel from your shifter assembly. When your OE shifter arm bushing begins to fail, you will notice slop in shifting, potentially making it easier to miss gears, and it often causes an obvious vibration and movement from the engine RPMs.
