This gauge ensures that the inlet and exhaust cams are aligned perfectly. Make sure the edges are on the correct sides of the cylinder head before using.
Includes two alignment pin's which is ideal for inspection and servicing the motor with the timing chain still attached. If you are going to be removing the timing chain for service, you will need to lock both cams.

The BMW M60 and M62 engines found in many 5 series, 7 series, and X5's has two major weak points over time - Vanos seal and timing guides.
