BMW Downpipes

When BMW began to offer more and more forced induction vehicles, some enthusiasts were upset and others were excited about the big power potential. While we love older, naturally aspirated BMWs, we LOVE forced induction BMWs. Upgrading your downpipe (or downpipes) is one of the easiest ways to reduce restriction and add more power to your BMW. We offer several brands, including our own designs, of downpipes for your BMW!

The Gen 2 B58 (B58N) turbocharged inline-6 is one of BMW’s most capable modern engines, known for its immense tuning potential and smooth power delivery. However, factory catalysts restrict exhaust flow and limit turbo efficiency. Our NEW EPA-compliant 400 cell high-flow catted downpipes are engineered to reduce backpressure, improve turbo spool characteristics, and unlock a deeper, more aggressive exhaust tone — all while maintaining emissions compliance standards.

For Supra owners who demand professional-grade performance without the legal and olfactory drawbacks of a catless system, Active Autowerke incorporates the industry's most advanced catalytic technology. This downpipe uses either the GESi G-Sport UHO or the Active Aflow catalyst, both of which are EPA registered and 49-state legal. These catalysts reach operational efficiency within just 9 seconds of startup, ensuring that your vehicle remains OBD2 compliant during emissions testing. By eliminating the "Check Engine Light" without the use of O2 spacers or software hacks, this downpipe remains a reliable choice for street-driven vehicles that see frequent track use. Key Features OBD2 Compliance: Fully compliant with onboard diagnostic systems (1996 and newer) for a worry-free ownership experience. 400 Cell Substrate: Strikes the perfect balance between high-velocity exhaust flow and effective emissions reduction. Thermal Efficiency: Rapid light-off time (approx. 9 seconds) ensures the cat is functioning almost immediately upon engine start. Durability: Substrate is furnace-brazed to the mantle, preventing the internal core from shifting or breaking under high-boost vibration. Miami Made: Proudly designed and hand-built in Miami, Florida, ensuring high-tier American manufacturing quality. Specifications Vehicle Fitment: 2020–2024 Toyota Supra (A90/A91) 3.0L B58 Engine. Catalyst Type: 4.5" GESi UHO-Series Gen 2 / Active Aflow. Cell Density: 400 Cells Per Square Inch. Taper Profile: 4.5" Turbo Connection → 3.5" Flex Section → 80mm OEM Outlet. Warranty: 5-Year / 50,000-Mile warranty on the shell/ends; 2-Year / 25,000-Mile on the catalyst core. Legal Status: EPA Compliant (49-State Legal; Not CARB registered for California).
