Positioned directly in the charge pipe's path, the stock B58TU upper cylinder head cooling hose, primarily made of plastic, is prone to damage. A dislodged charge pipe can easily take out this cooling hose, leading to severe engine damage through rapid coolant loss and overheating.
To address this vulnerability, VTT has engineered a robust solution. By replacing the OEM rubber hose with a durable 7-ply silicone variant, they offer superior resilience and longevity. Furthermore, they've upgraded the factory plastic flanges to 6061-T6 billet aluminum with black anodizing, enhancing corrosion resistance.
This upgraded hose is the ultimate solution, providing protection against dislodged charge pipes and the heat generated from spirited driving or track use.
