Unlock the full potential of your S54’s valvetrain with our High Performance Cam Followers/Rocker Arms, built for precision, durability, and reliability in high-revving performance engines.

Crafted from forged chromoly steel and finished with a diamond-like carbon coating, these cam followers are engineered to deliver exceptional strength, reduced friction, and outstanding wear resistance, ideal for demanding street or track use. Each unit is precision-ground for consistent clearances and smooth, stable valvetrain motion at all RPMs. Despite heavy-duty construction, our design retains the same weight as the factory rocker arm, preserving OE valvetrain geometry and balance while offering superior longevity and performance.

Rocker arms wear in conjunction with the camshafts, meaning the two must be replaced simultaneously. Aftermarket and performance camshaft options (Schrick, CAT-Cams, etc.) are typically ground from softer blanks and, as a result, cannot be used with factory rocker arms. We tested our performance cam followers with aftermarket camshafts to validate compatibility, ensuring smooth, reliable, and safe operation under demanding conditions.

Features:

Forged chromoly construction for maximum strength and durability Diamond-like carbon-coated surface reduces friction, extends service life, and permits compatibility with aftermarket and performance camshaft options Precision-ground tolerances ensure consistent and quiet operation OEM weight match maintains valvetrain balance and reliability Superior wear resistance for performance and endurance applications NOTE: Rocker arms are wear items and must be replaced alongside a new set of camshafts, regardless of profile or manufacturer. Installing a new set of rocker arms onto a used set of camshafts is NOT recommended.

Kit Contents:

24 DLC-Coated Rocker Arms (required to complete both camshafts) Product Development: Our Turner Performance Rocker Arms are the result of advanced engineering, testing, and quality assurance by Turner’s Research & Development team. Every stage of development employs FARO laser scanning, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, and in-house rapid prototyping for precise fitment and design validation. Performance and durability are proven through Mustang AWD 500 SE dyno testing and Superflow SF-750 Flowbench analysis, ensuring each component meets Turner’s uncompromising standards for performance and quality.

Under certain conditions, the N55 crank hub likes to spin, without warning and even when the engine is in perfect health. The engineers at Vargas saw and dealt with this problem time and again, and they saw fit to do something about it. This hub uses a proprietary "Spline Lock" technology that uses high tolerance machined splines which press into the crank, and positively lock the hub to the crank. The splines are machined in such a way that rotational forces drive the hub, and splines deeper into the crank meaning when the hub encounters a situation that would normally slip a stock hub the splined hub is driven into the crank to keep it in place (much like a splined extractor). Features: Installs the same as a stock hub Does NOT require the crank to be drilled for pins Manufactured from Harndered 17-4SS We suggest the Crank Hub System ONLY be installed by a qualified shop or technician. Timing tools are 100% REQUIRED if installed improperly engine damage may occur. DISCLAIMER: VTT and ECS are not responsible for any engine damage caused by improper installation, or misuse of the crank hub solution.

Anyone with a modified N54 knows the risks involved. Upping the performance of any engine can come with some inherent risk; if we add more boost but not fuel, detonation will occur (or worse). Furthermore, improper installation, maintenance, or operation can turn a perfectly healthy engine into a paperweight. The worst failures, however, are the ones we don't plan for. When the engine simply can't handle the stresses its put under, or the design is such that it simply does not support extreme conditions. Enter the N54 crank hub. Under certain conditions, it likes to spin without warning, even when the engine is in perfect health. Vargas spent many months testing, and retesting this design, utilizing well over 10 different samples to come to the final production version. During testing, the final hub managed to break the testing rig before slipping. These have been bench-tested, and real-world tested on the VTT N54 race car spinning 8K RPM, and making well over 900WHP. Carrillo rods are your number one option for performance connecting rods! If you are looking to upgrade your N20 engine to handle greater power, we highly recommend these Pro-H connecting rods. Upgrading connecting rods in your engine can bring several benefits, particularly if you're looking to enhance performance, reliability, and overall durability. Here are some reasons why you might consider investing in upgraded connecting rods: Increased Strength: Upgraded connecting rods are often made from stronger materials, such as forged steel or titanium, compared to stock rods. This increased strength helps withstand higher levels of stress and load, making them suitable for high-performance applications. Improved Durability: Enhanced materials and manufacturing processes contribute to improved durability, reducing the risk of connecting rod failure, especially in high-stress situations. This is crucial for engines that undergo frequent high-speed or high-stress conditions, such as in racing or heavy-duty applications. Higher RPM Capability: Upgraded connecting rods are designed to handle higher engine RPM (revolutions per minute) without succumbing to fatigue or deformation. This is beneficial for those seeking increased horsepower and torque at higher engine speeds. Reduced Weight: Some upgraded connecting rods are engineered to be lighter while maintaining strength, contributing to a lower overall rotating mass in the engine. This can result in quicker revving, improved throttle response, and better overall performance. Enhanced Precision: Upgraded rods often undergo more precise machining processes, ensuring tight tolerances and improved balance. This precision can lead to better engine stability and reduced vibration, ultimately extending the life of engine components. Compatibility with High-Performance Builds: If you're planning on modifying your engine for increased horsepower through methods like turbocharging or supercharging, upgraded connecting rods become essential. They provide the necessary strength and reliability to handle the increased stresses associated with forced induction. Prevention of Catastrophic Failures: Upgrading connecting rods can act as a preventive measure against catastrophic engine failures. The improved strength and durability reduce the risk of a connecting rod breaking, which could lead to severe engine damage.
