The oil filter housing is pretty self explanitory; It holds the oil filter assembly. Not only does this provide a small amount of cooling but it makes the filter much easier to service.
The aluminum oil filter housings can crack causing oil leaks which leads to a mess and possible engine damage. This Bremmen replacement unit has the oil housing, the oil cooler, sensor and gaskets to get your car sealed up and working properly again all in one go!
