A notable feature of the E46 M3 LCI was its carbon kevlar front bumper carrier, designed to minimize weight at the car's forwardmost point. BMW took this innovation a step further in the M3 CSL, incorporating a fully carbon carrier directly into the front bumper. However, these premium, performance-oriented components were absent in later M models. For example, the F8x M-Series models use the same bumper mounting support as their non-M counterparts straight from the factory. To remedy this, Slon Workshop has introduced a lightweight and highly rigid carbon bumper carrier, offering a superior alternative to the OEM aluminum part by reducing weight and improving structural performance.
