Upgrade your BMW's performance with Turner Power Pulleys, designed to enhance engine efficiency and increase available horsepower. These pulleys reduce the rotation of essential accessories by up to 10-20%, redirecting engine power to the wheels. Turner ensures these pulleys maintain proper functionality through rigorous on and off-track testing.
Crafted from durable T-6061 aluminum and finished in black hard anodizing, Turner Power Pulleys offer longevity, heat resistance, and chemical durability. They retain the stock-like appearance while providing increased strength and reduced weight, eliminating concerns about plastic failure.
The accessory drive belts are essential for keeping various components running smoothly off the crank pulley. These belts power critical systems like the generator, fans, water pumps, and AC compressors, ensuring optimal functionality. When your drive belt shows signs of aging such as cracking, glazing, or squeaking, it's time for a replacement.
You can easily spot wear and tear on the belts. Look for glazing on the underside, which indicates reduced effectiveness. Cracks on the back of the belt can result from "dry rot" caused by engine heat or age. Squealing noises are also common with worn belts, indicating slippage on pulleys. In either case, it's crucial to install a new belt for your vehicle's optimal performance.
Gates FleetRunner Micro-V Belts are a top choice, featuring patented EPDM construction with a distinctive green overcord. Designed for heavy-duty drives, these belts offer superior flexibility, stability, and extended lifespan. While originally intended for the heavy-duty diesel market, enthusiasts worldwide rely on Gates FleetRunner belts for their unmatched durability and performance.
