Often referred to as a guide mount or front strut support, this part can lead to suspension squeaks or clunking noises when worn over time. The same guide is used on both the passenger and driver sides. It mounts to the top of the strut, securing the spring and strut in place while exposing the strut's end thread when compressed and locked. Professional installation is recommended.
