The fan and clutch that connect to the water pump add additional rotating mass to the drive line. By removing them and converting your system to an electric fan, the engine has to do less work, giving you that extra little bit of power. In this kit we include a lower temperature thermostat, coolant additive, and low temperature fan switch that engages the electric fan at a lower temperature, keeping your engine cool and lowering the drag and unneeded weight from the front end of your BMW.

This kit is best for someone who wants to upgrade their thermostat housing to aluminum, has already upgraded their water pump pulley, and has performed regular maintenance on their engine drive belts.
