These are the best rear shock mounts that we have found for the E30, E36, E46, Z3 & E85 Z4! Featuring CNC-machined billet aluminum mounting base with a replaceable urethane bushing (replacement bushings are just $15 and are changed in minutes!). These mounts are excellent for either street or track because of their low NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). Plus, the superior design will far outlast the life of stock mounts - maybe even the car itself. You'll never think twice about your shock mounts again! These shock mounts are a direct replacement of the stock mounts so they fit all shocks with the BMW-standard 10mm shock shaft, including all factory and OEM shocks (Boge, Sachs, etc), H&R coil overs, Bilstein shocks and PSS, PSS9, PSS10 coil overs (except the B16 Ride Control Kit). This is sold as a package with new shock mount gaskets, washers, and Nyloc nuts.

Must re-use factory cupped washers!

These Rear Lower Control Arm Knuckle Bushing replace the rubber factory bushing attaching the lower control arm to the knuckle with a low friction teflon-lined spherical bearing. Replacing the OEM component with this bushing will allow for less deflection under heavy load, and less bind as the arm travels through its suspension. We use the largest possible FK bearing in this location for increased longevity and lower NVH. The housing for the bearing is machined out of 6061-T6 aluminum and is CNC cut to +/- .001" tolerance to insure proper fitment. Sold as a pair. Made in the USA. These rubber bushings from Meyle are a direct replacement for the stock differential bushings in the E46 3-series, E83 X3 SAV, and Z4 Roadster. If your original bushings are worn (likely around 100,000 miles) these are a great replacement upgrade. The front bushings are the stock OEM type rubber bushings. The rear bushing is a Meyle HD upgrade over stock - about 15% stiffer than the originals. This means the bushing will not flex and twist as much. This puts more power to the wheels since power is no longer used up for 'torquing' the bushing. These are not race bushings; the rubber material is perfectly suitable for street use.

The non-M E46/E83/Z4 models use three differential mounts - two front bushings in the subframe and one rear mount in the diff cover. This set of bushings covers all three. You can opt to include new mounting hardware in the Options list below.

While it helped to improve ride quality it is not always the best for performance, and the self leveling system parts can be very expensive to replace. Replacing your struts and shocks? Don't forget the bushings! The rubber mounts for the shocks will go bad over time, especially if you drive hard or the roads are particularly rough. The shock mounts locate the front struts and rear shocks to the car - providing a quiet and vibration-free buffer between the road and the cabin. Shock mounts and bushings can wear out just like any other rubber part on the car. This leads to more noise and harshness reaching the chassis and may complicate your new suspension install. When installing new shocks, that is the perfect time to also replace the mounts. There is no additional time to install them, no special tools required, and doesn't take any extra time! If you re-use the original mounts you have the risk of them failing before your next shock replacement, doubling your labor costs.
