The factory BMW charge pipes are prone to cracking, as they are made from brittle plastic. Here at Turner, we sell several brands of replacement charge pipes that are typically made from cast aluminum. We recommend upgrading to hard charge pipes even on stock forced induction vehicles to avoid cracking - we've seen cracking occur on high mileage cars running stock power just as frequently as we do with high horsepower builds.
If your brake pedal is starting to feel like a wet sponge and you’re missing that sharp, decisive bite when you drop anchor before a corner, your BMW is trying to tell you something.
